Bold

I will never part with this treasured object. Back cover: Bold Magazine was a monthly pocket-sized men's magazine that featured starlets on the cover (from Anita Ekberg to Bettie Page). Inside were pinup layouts and informative articles such as this one: I love how the article ends abruptly with an illustration that should probably go to a facing page, and the record club ad is aces!

Newspaper blackout

Austin Kleon is a writer, cartoonist, and designer living in Austin, Texas. Inspired by the work of Tom Phillips, Austin created a series of "Newspaper Blackout" poems.
